In my personal journey, coming from a non-charismatic background which did not really speak much of the work of the spirit beyond conviction of sins (John 16:8), and really maturing in a Pentecostal/Charismatic environment, I have had moments of joy when I study and meditate on trinitarian doctrine. Simple things, like:

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Jesus Christ (Phil 1:19)
The Holy Spirit is also the Spirit of the Father (Eph 1:17, Romans 8:14)
In light of this, I concluded that the Holy Spirit is safe [amidst a sometimes weird group of Holy Spirit junkies].
Jesus maintained a dependent relationship with His Father, and never “outgrew” or disagreed with His Father (John 5:19)
The Father reveals to the Son (and to us) Himself and what He is doing (John 5:20, 14:12-13)
Jesus was past-eternal with the Father, and not just a post 33AD deity (Heb 1:2)
It is through the Holy Spirit that we remain connected to God, and through Him we have hope of righteousness (Gal 5:5)
Through the work of the Holy Spirit and by “walking in the Spirit” we can overcome ungodly desires (Gal 5:16)
A true work of the Holy Spirit is accompanied by resulting fruit in our lives (Gal 5:22-26)

These things are precious to me, and even meditating on these divine moments brings joy to my heart.
